Exciting New Updates and Refresher on Using GetCTC.org to Help Families Claim the Child Tax Credit and Earned Income Tax Credit Before November 15th

October 26, 2022 60 minutes

Please join us for a webinar in partnership with the Coalition on Human Needs and the Partnership for America’s Children, on how you can still help families claim the 2021 Expanded Child Tax Credit (CTC) before simplified filing closes on November 15th. This presentation will include important updates on claiming the CTC this fall and beyond, exciting new information on the launch of the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) feature on GetCTC.org, and ready-to-use multi-lingual resources for outreach efforts.

The expanded 2021 CTC provides up to $3,600 per child, including for kids in families with no or low income. Recent data demonstrates the CTC’s significant impact in reducing poverty, but unfortunately many kids are still at risk of missing out on these funds. This is an urgent time to spread the word because simplified filing through GetCTC.org closes on November 15th. This portal makes it easy for families to claim this money online on their own. While families can continue to claim the CTC after November 15th, they’ll need to file full tax returns to do so.
