Attachment and Observation in Virtual Home Visiting

Attachment and Observation in Virtual Home Visiting

March 24, 2021 60 minutes

This webinar will review why attachment matters, common attachment behaviors at different ages, and the functions of attachment. We will explore how attachment behaviors such as, gaze, affect, proximity, and touch are observed in virtual home visits and phone-only visits. We will also provide ideas and activities that can strengthen the caregiver and child’s use of these attachment behaviors within their interactions to support healthy attachment.
